Sustainability
Raw materials & production:
Whenever possible, we source our raw materials from Europe. Of course, there are raw materials that cannot come from Europe. We attach particular importance to the sustainability of the supply chain. The raw materials for our products are selected with the greatest care and manufactured gently to preserve the greatest possible naturalness. The less a product is processed, the stronger its natural effectiveness. We therefore pay the utmost attention to the quality, purity and naturalness of our products.
Our raw materials come from like-minded partners who adhere to high quality standards. We value long-term and personal relationships with our partners.
In order to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible, we work in our factory in a resource-saving manner and with sustainable energy. We also produce in Germany.
Most of our products are vegan.
Shipping
For packaging, we use recycled cardboard material and 100% biodegradable corn chips. Our packaging is therefore plastic-free.
We often receive questions from our customers about this because the chips look like Styrofoam or plastic. In fact, however, they are pure corn chips made from corn starch. This means they are 100 percent compostable. The chips belong in the compost or in the organic waste bin.
To ensure environmentally friendly shipping, we use ECO GREEN from DHL for our packages.
Reforestation
Forests are one of the most important CO₂ stores on our planet. They are a habitat for numerous and diverse living creatures. The forest is also the basis of life for us humans. The forest areas of our earth have declined sharply in recent decades. The reasons for this are mainly the extraction of raw materials, increasing settlement, agricultural use and illegal deforestation.
We want to give something back to our nature and believe that reforestation of cleared areas is one of the most important ways to contribute to climate and nature conservation.
